Writer for Hire
I am a writer for hire.
I will throw words
like stones
into your pond.
The words will become
many sentences
and make a bridge.
I will cross over to you.
We can then
get to know each other
a little better.
Maybe make a story
together -
or a poem that rhymes -
or not.
I expect to have
many stones left over
once I cross over.
Once I cross over
I can bring you truck loads.
There will be enough
for you
and I (I knows it is me)
to make
many beautiful paragraphs
together -
